The ECB will keep rates at 1 percent on weak economy.

Frankfurt (Germany), April 7 .- The European Central Bank (ECB) will keep interest rates tomorrow at 1 per cent by the weakness of the economy of the euro area and the absence of inflationary pressures, as anticipated by financial markets .

The experts differ when considering whether the European monetary authority will raise the price of money later this, ffxiv gil, year or wait until the first quarter of 2011, although most favors the second possibility.

The economic weakness of some peripheral countries of the euro area, such as Greece, Portugal, Spain and Ireland, requires the ECB to keep rates in this historically low level, according to said Christopher Balz, an analyst at German bank Commerzbank.
